Arizona!

Gdy czytacie ten post, ja zapewne jestem gdzieś w Arizonie. Tuż przed urlopem stworzyłam taki oto manikiur z użyciem naklejek od Born Pretty Store. Ten stan kojarzy się przede wszystkim z Wielkim Kanionem, ale południe, blisko granicy z Meksykiem to półpustynne stepy z kaktusami.

When you are reading this post I am probably in Arizona. Just before my holiday I created below manicure using decals from Born Pretty Store. For many people first thought about this state is Grand Canyon, but southern part of it, close to Mexican border, is semi-desert steppe with cactuses.

La Mia Italia no 34

Moi rodzice wybrali się na wycieczkę na Białoruś. Brat oczywiście zażyczył sobie magnes na lodówkę, a ja - lakier. No i moja mama stanęła na wysokości zadania i znalazła tamtejszą emalię. Nazwa niezbyt białoruska, ale to nie jest ważne.

My parents went to Belarus for a short trip. My brother wanted as always a magnet for a fridge and I asked for a nail polish. My mother managed to find a local brand. The name doesn`t sound like a one from eastern Europe, but it doesn`t matter.

Lakier jest gęsty i kryje już przy pierwszej warstwie. Ma gruby, w miarę wygodny pędzelek. Schnie szybko, ale na wszelki wypadek dałam warstwę Insta Dri. U mnie wytrzymał 4 dni. I na koniec muszę wspomnieć o kolorze - jest piękny, głęboki i elegancki. Jeden paznokieć zaakcentowałam wzorem z płytki BPS Spring Garden L003.

The polish is thick and it is opaque in 1 layer. It has thick and quite comfortable brush. It dries fast, but just in case I applied a layer of Insta Dri. I wore it 4 days. Last but least - I have to mention its beautiful deep and elegant shade. I accented one nail with an image from stamping plate BPS Spring Garden L003.

Dziś zapraszam na recenzję wiosennej płytki BPS - Spring Garden L003. Zawiera ona 17 dużych wzorów (na krótkich paznokciach nie mieszczą się w całości). Wszystkie odbijają się bez problemu. Można je kolorować albo zostawić jednobarwne. Jeden wzorek ładnie zaakcentuje manikiur. Płytkę znajdziecie tutaj.

Tutaj I would like to invite you for a review of stamping plate from BPS - Spring Garden L003. It contains 17 big patterns (for short nails they are too long). All work fine, without a problem. You can make stamping decals or just leave a pattern in one color. A single pattern is a nice accent of whole manicure. You can find the plate here.

Do mojego manikiuru wybrałam niebieski Astor Karner Butterfly. Lakier ma trochę fioletowych tonów, przez co wygląda ciekawie. Nakłada się dobrze, schnie szybko i wytrzymuje kilka dni, u mnie widzicie 3 cienkie warstwy.

As a base color I chose Astor Karner Butterfly. It has some purple tones and it looks very nice. Application in good, it dries fast and lasts several days, on my nails you can see 3 thin layers.

Salon Perfect Shocked

Rok temu w Kanadzie znalazłam ten oryginał - różowo-niebieskie drobinki zatopione w bezbarwnej bazie. Myślałam, że będzie problem z kryciem, ale okazało się, że 2 grubsze warstwy wystarczą. Lakier schnie bardzo szybko. Wygląda dobrze nie tylko w buteleczce, ale i na paznokciach. Lakier jest dosyć chropowaty i nawet 3 warstwy topu nie wyrównały tego. No i rozczarował mnie trwałością - już następnego dnia odpadał całymi płatami.

A year ago I found this curiosity in Canada - pink-blue glitter in a transparant base. I thought I will have a problem with its opacity, but it turned out that 2 thicker layers are enough. It dries very fast. It looks good not only in the bottle, but on the nails as well. It has a sand structure, which wasn`t covered even by 3 layers of a top coat. And I was disappointed with its lasting - on the second day I was loosing big pieces of the polish.

Stamping plate BP-L078

Jednym z produktów z Born Pretty Store, które wybrałam do testowania jest płytka BP-L078.

Najbardziej zależało mi na pierwszym wzorku w lewym górnym rogu, ale jak na złość okazał się źle wyżłobiony. Listki obok też nie do końca nadają się do użycia. Na szczęście inne są w porządku i dziś pokażę pierwszy manikiur.

One of the items from Born Pretty Store I chose for review is stamping plate BP-L078.

The pattern I wanted the most (first in the top left corner) turned out to be not fully engraved. The leaves next to it also look damaged. Luckily other ones are fine and here I will show you my first manicure.

Zdobienie stworzyłam w następujący sposób: zaczęłam od pomalowania paznokci białym Sinful Colors Snow me white. Następnie nałożyłam na stempel po kilka kropek Color Club Macaroon Swoon, Barry M Road rage i Eat my dust, rozciapałam je na paznokciach. Czarnym Playboy Anastasia wystemplowałam wzorek. Całość wykończyłam topem matującym Rival de Loop.

How did I create my manicure? First I painted my nails over with Sinful Colors Snow me white. Next I applied several drops of Color Club Macaroon Swoon, Barry M Road rage and Eat my dust on a stamp and I smashed them on my nails. I stamped over with Playboy Anastasia. I finished using mat top coat Rival de Loop.

Nieskromnie przyznam, że wyszło całkiem fajnie. A co Wy o tym myślicie?

Tak, lubię czerwone lakiery i często po nie sięgam. A jeszcze jak się trafi taki piękny klasyczny odcień ze świetną aplikacją i niezłą trwałością (pierwsze odpryski miałam piątego dnia), to jestem szczęśliwa. a Wy lubicie paznokcie w tym kolorze?

Yes, I do like red polishes and I use them often. And if I can find a classic red with great application and quite long lasting (I noticed first tip wear on 5th day), I am really happy. And what about you - do you like nails in this color?

BPS Recall (Flower in Sunshine Series)

W sobotę przyszła do mnie nowość od Born Pretty Store - lakier Recall z serii Flower in Sunshine.

Od razu zachwycił moje oczy - piękny duochrom (mięta przechodząca w róż) z połyskującymi drobinkami.

On Saturday I got a new polish from Born Pretty Store - Recall from Flower in Sunshine Serie. 

I think it is stunning - beautiful duochrome (mint shifting into pink) with sparkling glitter.

Lakier ma dobrą konsystencję, nakłada się równo, wystarczą 2 warstwy, chociaż ja dałam 3 bardzo cienkie. Schnie w średnim tempie. Nie sprawdzałam trwałości, bo następnego dnia miała ważne spotkanie w pracy i potrzebowałam nieco bardziej klasycznego manikiuru.

Niestety, chociaż nie wiem jak starałam się, to nie udało mi się złapać efektu duochromu - w rzeczywistości przejście kolorów jest bardzo wyraźne.

The polish has good consistency, application is easy, 2 layers are enough, but I applied 3 very thin ones. Drying time is average. I did not try how long it could last, because next day I had an important meeting at work and needed to wear more appropriate manicure.

Unfortunately, I tried hard, but I was not able to catch duochrome effect - in reality color shift is very clear.

Czas mija nieubłaganie. Za nami maj. Znów udało mi się uniknąć zakupów i zużyć kilka produktów, w tym dwa lakiery. Oto ostatnie zdobienia z nimi.

Time flies. May is behind us. I was able to avoid buying new stuff and finished some old cosmetics, including 2 nail polishes. Here are the last nail art with them.

Essence Miss Universe - naprawdę piękny lakier, należał do tych, które mogłam nosić przez wiele dni.
Essence Miss Universe - it was really beautiful polish and it belong to the ones I could wear for many days.

Hema Quick & Go nr 19 - może nie jakiś super, ale przydał się do kilku zdobień.
Hema Quick & Go no 19 - maybe not the greatest polish, but it looked nice as a part of some nail art.

Cien Red Roses

Skusiłam się na lakier z Lidla i to był błąd, wielki błąd.

Emalia ma piękny czerwony kolor, wygodny pędzelek, schnie szybko i tuż po pomalowaniu wygląda cudnie. Niestety, 15 minut później pojawiają się okropne bąble. Próbowałam 2 razy, z różnymi bazami i topami i nic nie pomogło.

A czy Wy macie jakieś doświadczenie z tą marką?

I bought a nail polish in Lidl and it was a mistake, a big mistake.

It has beautiful red color, comfortable brush, it dries fast and just after applying it on nails it looks great. Unfortunately, 15 minutes later it looks terrible - my nails were full of bubbles. I tried it twice, with other base and top coat and it did not help.

The polish is going to the trash bin 😟

Nail mail from Born Pretty Store

Czekałam długo, ale w końcu dotarła do mnie kolejna przesyłka z Born Pretty Store.

I had been waiting long, but finally next parcel from Born Pretty Store has arrived.

Tym razem wybrałam głównie naklejki. Zaskoczyły mnie te z kaktusami i innymi roślinami - jest ich naprawdę mnóstwo.

This time I chose mainly nail stickers. I was surprised with the one with cactuses and other plants - I got really huge sheet.
